The role

We’re looking for a GIS Project Ecologist / Specialist to join our Birmingham team on an initial six month fixed-term contract. You will ideally have past field experience, be competent in a number of field techniques, and have previous site team experience for protected species. We are looking for a good ‘all-rounder’, strong project management and organisational skills and willingness to work independently with limited direction.

You should have an interest in GIS and ideally experience of using ARCGIS and CAD. Alternatively, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, get up to speed with new software, and be comfortable working in a programme-focused delivery environment.

Working for one of the largest independently owned environmental consultancies in the UK, we’re looking for a technical specialist for a varied role, which will contribute to some of the most significant projects of our time.
