Feasibility studies

Thomson provides all services that allows for all aspects of development and client requirements to be satisfied and exceeded.

Feasibility studies

It is often necessary to understand the viability of a site or a potential development proposal at a less detailed, more over-arching level before committing more fully to the design process and specific proposals.

The Thomson landscapes team works with our in-house GIS team to analyse the development potential for sites. They can rule out areas that may not be suitable and give guidance on the scale, type and location of developments that will balance design integrity and site sensitivity with commercial viability and the client requirements.

This process may well also include aspects of LVIA, ecology surveys, understanding the hydrology of an area as well as the planning and social context in which a site sits, all of which can be undertaken by Thomson to provide a cohesive and comprehensive study that allows for all aspects of development, and your requirements as our client, to be satisfied and exceeded.
