Our teams within Thomson have been awarded several industry recognised accreditations and certifications. These recognise and demonstrate our commitment to continually assessing and improving the health, safety, quality & environmental standards we are committed to working to.


CIEEM – The Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management ‘Registered Practice’ member

ISO 14001 – The international standard that specifies the requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS).

ISO9001 – The international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system.

RISQS – This is a supplier qualification service for buyers of products and services for the GB rail industry.

UVDB – The utility industry pre-qualification system used by the UK utilities sector to manage risk within the supply chain and comply with EU regulations.

Acclaim Accreditation enables us to demonstrate our compliance with health and safety legislation.

HSAS – Health and Safety Assessment Scheme – provides our clients with the assurance that we, as Principal Contractors, and the Contractors we appoint are competent to perform their required tasks.

CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) is a pre-approval scheme, which allows contractors to demonstrate to potential clients that they meet the required health and safety standards.

SMAS – Safety Management Advisory Services – is a nationally recognised Health & Safety accreditation. It demonstrates our business’ Health & Safety standards, allowing our clients confidence when it comes to our competence.

BALI – We are a member of BALI, the leading trade association for the UK landscape professionals.

Supply Chain Sustainability School – We have been awarded Silver level, recognised for our commitment to continuous improvement in sustainability.
