What habitat management and restoration services do you offer?

We offer a comprehensive range of habitat contracting services across the UK. This includes habitat creation and restoration, native species planting, invasive species control, pond creation and wetland management, woodland enhancement, and ecological landscaping. We work closely with our in-house team of terrestrial and fresh water ecologists, hydrologists and arboricultural consultants deliver projects that support biodiversity and meet planning and conservation goals.

Who do you work with?

Our clients include local authorities, conservation charities, housing developers, ecological consultants, multidisciplinary consultancies, water companies, energy companies, tier one contractors, infrastructure projects, habitat bank providers and private landowners. Whether it’s part of a planning condition, biodiversity net gain target, or a conservation initiative, we can tailor our services to meet your specific requirements.

Do you carry out ecological surveys or assessments?

Yes, we have a large team of ecological consultants, and can provide services in terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments. If you need a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (PEA), protected species survey, a Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessment, protected species licensing and mitigation, we can provide an end-to-end solution in-house.

Are your services compliant with UK regulations?

Yes, all of our work adheres to UK environmental regulations, including the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the Environment Act 2021 (for BNG), and relevant local planning conditions. We follow best practice guidance from Natural England, DEFRA, the Environment Agency, and industry standards from organisations like CIEEM.

What types of land do you provide habitat management for?

Our habitat contracting team provides management for a wide range of land types, including brownfield sites, coastal and river environments, grasslands, heathlands, wetlands, and woodlands. Get in touch to find out how we can help with your next project.

How do you manage invasive non-native species (INNS)?

We are fully-qualified to manage invasive species such as Japanese knotweed, Himalayan balsam, giant hogweed, and rhododendron. We use a range of methods including mechanical removal, stem injection, herbicide treatment (with appropriate NPTC certification), and habitat restoration to support long-term control.

Do you offer long-term habitat management?

Yes. Beyond initial restoration or creation, we provide ongoing habitat maintenance, monitoring, and management services. This may include vegetation control, replanting, ecological monitoring, and reporting—ensuring the habitat continues to thrive and deliver biodiversity value over time.
