Leeds

The Leeds team comprises members of Thomson’s terrestrial ecology, arboricultural, geospatial, and support team staff. We are an established and experienced team working on a wide range of projects from housing developments to nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs). Our team boasts a wealth of project experience and technical specialists covering arboriculture, botany, bats, great crested newt, and barn owl. We undertake a variety of works, including preliminary appraisals to establish the presence of protected species and habitats, arboricultural impact assessments, protected species licensing, and the production and implementation of mitigation and monitoring strategies. Working with public and private sector clients we provide sound ecological advice and deliver practical approaches to achieving environmental compliance.

We are proud of our friendly, supportive and effective team dynamic, and organise a range of team social events throughout the year which have included the Yorkshire three peaks challenge, Edale skyline walk, a Farne islands diving trip, and nights out in the city.
