On Thursday 23rd March 2023, Thomson attended Merrist Wood College to deliver several presentations to students to discuss the different career pathways into our specialist areas of work in Habitats, Arboriculture, Terrestrial Ecology, Freshwater Ecology, Marine Ecology and GIS.
Merrist Wood College is a 400-acre college in Worplesdon, Surrey, that specialises in the land-based industries.
Guest speakers included:
– Wulfric Blackwell – Senior project manager of habitat creation, management and landscaping.
– Graham Clarke – Operations manager.
– Andy Poynter – Principal arboricultural consultant.
– Felicity Andruszko – Associate director of terrestrial ecology.
– Tessa Harding – Director of aquatic ecology
– Kirti Gihwala – Marine biologist
– Ailsa Singleton BSc (Hons) – GIS team Lead
