How did you get into ecology/environmental work?
I have always had an interest in nature and the environment from a young age. This interest has heavily influenced both my studies and career choices.
When did you join Thomson EC?
May 2024.
How many years of relevant industry experience do you have?
25 years.
Can you describe your position at Thomson EC? What does a typical day like?
No two days ever look the same, but that is one of my favourite things about the role. My role is to make sure our operational teams are running smoothly so a lot of my time is spent looking at resourcing and planning, both in the short and longer term. I regularly review our performance to make sure we are reaching our potential and work with our teams to find more efficient and effective ways of working.
Are there any relevant subject matters you are passionate about?
I’m passionate about providing a great work environment for people at Thomson so I also spend time supporting the delivery or our People Plan.
Hobbies and interests outside work?
Away from work I love to be outdoors, and I love to travel so often combine the two!
