Dr Ruth Barnich to present at the World Conference on Marine Biodiversity

Following on from BBC news article yesterday,”Plastic pollution: Scientists’ plea on threat to ocean giants“, which outlined the impact of plastic pollution on sharks, whales and rays who are at the very top of the marine food chain, micro-plastics are a real environmental issue at all stages in the marine food chain.

We are delighted to announce that Thomson Unicomarine’s Dr Ruth Barnich will present a paper at the World Conference on Marine Biodiversity in Montreal, Canada this year on how microplastics of less than 1 mm size are affecting macroinvertebrates in the marine environment.
