We are delighted to announce the winners of Thomson’s quarterly client feedback charity draw.
Earlier this year, we started a new initiative whereby clients could enter our quarterly draw to win a £100 donation to a charity of their choice. All they had to do was complete our short feedback form to tell us what Thomson or a particular team or staff member is doing well and/or areas where we can improve.
Nancy Thomson, Chair of Thomson, did the honours of picking the winning charities out of a hard(!) hat and the winners were:
1. £100 to Cancer Research UK on behalf of a Site Manager at VolkerFitzpatrick.
2. £50 to Somerset Wildlife Trust on behalf of an Ecologist at Network Rail.
3. £25 to The Brain Tumour Charity on behalf of an Environmental & Societal Lawyer at Dentons.
Since starting the initiative, 100% of feedback said Thomson responded to their initial enquiry in a timely manner and 100% of responses said they would recommend Thomson to friends or colleagues.
“Greatly appreciated the help from Abigail Wain (Ecologist, Cardiff) in resourcing the works at such short notice” – Dyer and Butler
“We used Robert Armitage (Arboricultural Consultant, Manchester) as our watching brief whilst undertaking drainage works within a brook at Stafford, his time keeping was impeccable, his knowledge and pragmatic approach were invaluable, Roberts assistance was instrumental in completing the works in a timely manner without fuss, highly recommended individual.” – Algeco
“It was a pleasure to work with Charlie Ward (Ecologist, Leeds). Very professional and a very good range of knowledge” – VolkerRail
“Very good communication and updates from Dale Irvine, (Senior Marine Biologist). Requests were taken into account and worked towards. Exceeded expectations.” – SAMS Enterprise
“I found Thomson Environmental Consultants to be highly responsive and professional. Jonathan Reeves (Associate Director, Cardiff) was very helpful and provided clear, sensible advice in relation to protected species and habitats. I would certainly recommend Jonathan to colleagues and clients looking for assistance with ecology matters.” – Dentons
“Jay Dowling (Site Supervisor, Guildford) is a pleasure to work with he has good communication and organisation skills both before and during visits to site. His briefs and paperwork are both of a very high standard, there are never any issues with PPE or workmanship in the team.” – EKFB
“We found the team that we worked with extremely efficient, friendly and competent. They also came up with a new AI methodology which was really impressive and a first for us, so really innovative and will certainly make us stand out with donors in the future.” – Froglife
