Having just passed the Environment Agency’s abstraction year-end, there is now a 28 day allowable period to complete your annual abstraction return!
With ever-increasing pressure on resources and economic drivers for water trading, making sure you are compliant, understand your licence conditions, and
submit a timely return is important. If you don’t submit it on time, or submit what is not an accurate record of abstraction, the Environment Agency
can take enforcement action against you.
