20 charity events for Thomson’s 20th anniversary
2024 marks a milestone for Thomson as we proudly celebrate our 20th anniversary. To celebrate, we’re not just throwing a party – we’re spreading the joy by hosting 20 charity events throughout the year.
The events will be a mixture of charity fundraising and team volunteering – helping the community and environment both locally and nationally.
#1 – Get baking for Dementia
The first of our charity events was held simultaneously at our offices in Birmingham, Guildford, Leeds, Cardiff and East Anglia. Colleagues came together and brought scrumptious treats to raise awareness and funds for a worthy cause. Dementia UK is a specialist dementia nursing charity supporting families affected by dementia. By taking part and generously donating, Team Thomson is actively contributing to the growth of specialist Admiral Nurses – the lifeline for those living with dementia.
Donations were collected through a GoFundMe page and we’re thrilled to announce a fantastic £417 was raised for Dementia UK. Thank you to everyone who took part and donated.
