Thomson’s Habitats team grows with the appointment of two new Site Operatives

We are thrilled to welcome two new Site Operatives to our Habitats team, strengthening our commitment to delivering high-quality, in-house habitat creation and management services tailored to our client’s needs.

Robert Grumbridge brings 15 years of commercial landscaping expertise to our team. Robert was drawn to Thomson by our interesting projects and variety of work opportunities. Already diving headfirst into tasks like reptile fence installation, tree planting, hedgerow maintenance, pond management, and ecological mitigation site monitoring. Robert is an invaluable asset to our team!

The thing I like most about my job is working outdoors – especially in the rain as I’m more likely to encounter my favourite animal – Frogs! They’re just fascinating!” – Robert Grumbridge

James Taylor joins Thomson with a Level 2 qualification in Horticulture and a background in construction. James is fuelled by his passion for nature and environmental stewardship. Currently lending his skills to a badger sett closure project, James is inspired by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the natural world alongside our like-minded and supportive team at Thomson.

The thing I like most about my job are the people. I’ve not previously been a people person but the team at Thomson are like-minded, friendly, approachable and supportive – which is refreshing!” – James Taylor
