Flood defence works in the South West

We have been working in the South West to support our client with flood defence works by installing reptile fencing in 4 areas of the site. Refugia have been laid out to trap reptiles, including grass snakes and slow worms, which will be moved off the site. The reptile fence is temporary and will keep reptiles off site whilst the development works are underway.

We have also undertaken vegetation clearance to help the existing flood defence works. We are covering many of the hedges in netting, to prevent birds from nesting during the breeding bird season whilst the development works progress.
